Our Story

Commercial Fisherman Jeff Mikus opened the Wildside Grill in 2008 and it quickly grew into one of Tofino's most acclaimed take-out restaurants. Operating at Cox Bay for our first ten years we catered to thousands of guests and locals alike, promoting our love for wild seafood, great service and local community events.

Today, Surfside Grill is happily apart of the Tsawaak RV Resort & Campground neighbourhood and is open to all guests, Tofino residents and visitors from around the world, serving the freshest seafood and family oriented meals.
